Verse 1:
All my friends are married now
And I yearn to take those vows.
All I want is to find a spouse
We could be a team
All my friends are happy without me.

Verse 2:

Sin-gles ward has brought new light
In-to dating someone just right.
Now I’m spending all my time
And thoughts and money on them
Could this be the end of my decision?

Verse 3:

Mar-riage foun-ded, strong and true!
Faith, and hope, and loving you.
Scriptures, prayer, temple recommends
Will keep us from sinking!
 Strong Fou-nda-tions before the ring.

Verse 4:

You are mine and I am yours
Work-ing togeth-er doing chores.
No one’s boss and no one’s better
We’re in this together!
Equal partners for the better.

Verse 5:

Chaste and true, you’re fore-ver mine.
Wrapped in the sanctity of life divine.
You and me, together as one.
Now will our children come.
All I have I give to you.

Verse 6:

My eyes are for you and no-one else.
Faithful and honest, we’ll tighten our belts.
Let’s stay clear away from temptation
And keep our covenants
Nothing untrustworthy, not even a glance!

Verse 7:

You’re not perfect, and neither am I.
We understand problems will arise.
Let’s forgive and communicate.
We can work it out.
Stronger it will make us, Love we’ll shout!

Verse 8:
Our children need us, despite our marital shoves.
We can seek our Bishop, and pray for more love.
Through prayer and fasting we’ll strengthen the ties
And hold our family strong.
Marriage can be difficult, let’s strengthen our bond.

Verse 9:

You are gray and I am white.
We’re wise and knowledgeable and can avoid big fights.
We reflect back on our lives we’ve shared.
We’re spending so much time together.
We’ll find new adventures, not just talk about weather.

Verse 10:

Let’s expand our family,
Have some babies, begin our parenting.
Love and stress and in a sleepy trance
We’ll do the parenting dance.
Heartache and joy, let’s take the chance.
